"Sensation! ICT Facilities once again winning the German Data Center Award 2017”

The industry is surprised - the team of the specialists founded in 2015 and experts for conception and realisation of data centers celebrates once again its victory.

After the surprise victory in 2016 at the ceremony for the coveted audience award taking place during the event of the German Data Center Award, ICT Facilities is winning once again the second time.

"Almost 3.000 votes were cast. More than 50% were given to the submission, which was prepared in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Peter Radgen of the University Stuttgart", explained Ulrike Ostler, editor in chief of the leading branch portal "Datacenter Insider" during her laudatory speech of the audience award 2017.

In both submitted technical categories 1 and 7, ICT Facilities could achieve the 3rd place with the solution "ICT Performer" (category 1) and "ICT AllInfraBox" (category 7) and came out top against their strong competitors.
In total, there have been 64 submissions (last year: 58) in 8 categories (last year: 9) which were evaluated by the expert jury formed by industry insiders. The three best submissions have been awarded.

Together with the complete team of ICT Facilities, managing directors Stephan Lang and Holger Zultner were very delighted about the won prizes and good rankings in the categories at the audience award. Additionally, their thanks belong to all colleagues of ICT Facilities who were not able to come to the prize ceremony in Darmstadt.

ICT Facilities and the year-end projects 2016

By the end of the year 2016 ICT Facilities could win several data center projects.
In small and medium-sized environments, the customers of well-known companies commission the data center specialists from Stuttgart with conceptions, design and realizations of server rooms for data centers and data centers itself on the following sectors: engineering, IT / telecommunications and trade. The services of ICT Facilities include basic evaluation, risk and weak point analysis, site selection, ideas and concepts, pre-basic design with building plans and cost estimations as well as the architectural consulting of the customer. During the preliminary design, ICT Facilities compiles the lead products as well as the specifications and tenders for the individual systems.

The designed data centers are also built modularly by the companies of the Zech Group and are accompanied by ICT Facilities construction and project managers.

ICT Facilities acts as a team in every project

The team of the ICT Facilities GmbH took part at the international Stuttgart B2Run-track event on the 26th July 2016 with one woman and even nine men.

In the field of more than 6.500 runners our trainee Malte Trukenmüller finished with an excellent 825th place and with a running time of 25:38.1 minutes. In the pure men’s evaluation, he was even able to win place 780.
But also our managing directors impressively showed their sport abilities:
Managing director Stephan Lang finished with a time of 33:29.8 minutes and place 82 of the chief evaluation.
Holger Zultner, member of the management, only reached the finishing line one second later (33:30.8) and reached place 84 in this special category.

Overall, the athletic performances of the runners Andrea Wilk, Stephan Lang, Holger Zultner, Rolf Bausenhart, Roger Weiß, Daniel Hess, Max Dittmann, Miltiadis "Matze" Foustanis, Uwe Meier and Malte Trukenmüller were more than worth seeing. Happy and satisfied the team shows itself on the winners’ rostrum.
